Mandalorian

 The Mandalorian is an American space Western television show created by Jon Favreau for the streaming service Disney+. It is the first live-action series in the Star Wars franchise, beginning five years following the events of Return of the Jedi (1983), and stars Pedro Pascal as the title character, a bounty hunter on the run to defend "the Child".Star Wars creator George Lucas had begun developing live-action Star Wars television series by 2009 but the project was considered too expensive to make. In October 2012, he sold Lucasfilm to Disney. The first work with the creation of the new Star Wars series for Disney+. Favreau joined the show in March of 2018 as showrunner and writer. He executive produces alongside Dave Filoni, Kathleen Kennedy and Colin Wilson. The title of the show was revealed in October 2018. Filming began at Manhattan Beach Studios, California. The StageCraft technology was invented by Industrial Light & Magic, the visual effects firm. It utilizes virtual sets and a 360-degree video wall to make sets for series. It has been used by many other television and film productions.
