Tran Jeong, a Vietnamese-American family doctor is married to actor Ken Jeong. She is the wife of Ken Jeong, an actor who is most well-known for her role as Ben Chang in Community and Leslie Chow in The Hangover. Tran is from Vietnamese descent, but was born in the United States. She graduated from David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and has been practicing as an omni-specialist for over two years. In 2002, while she was working for Kaiser Permanente in West California, she came across Ken, who was one of her coworkers. They dated for two years before getting married in 2004. Tran and her husband have twin daughters, Zooey and Alexa. Tran was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2008, just one year after the twins were born. Following her diagnosis she underwent 16 sessions of chemotherapy and was undergoing an operation called a mastectomy. Then, she was treated with radiation therapy. Through all the ordeal, her husband served as her primary caregiver. The doctors told her in October of 2010 that she was not suffering from cancer. At present, Tran Jeong and her family reside in Los Angeles, California, and she also has a clinic in Woodland Hills, California.
