Mike Pence is an American politician with an estimated wealth of $4 million. After leaving the White House, Pence has made several million dollars from public speaking expenses and a seven figure book advance. Mike Pence is most widely known for being Donald Trump's vice president from 2016 until 2020. He was governor of Indiana between 2013 and 2017, as well as was a Congressman between 2001 and 2013. Prior to entering politics, Pence was a talk-radio host in Indiana. Mike ran for Congress numerous times in the late 80s and early 90s, but was unsuccessful. His first run was in 2000. From 2000 until 2012, the congressman was an elected member of Congress until he was elected governor in Indiana. He is married to Karen since 1985. They have three children. While he was raised Catholic and grew up in the Catholic faith, he switched to a non-denominational born-again Christian during college. A staunch rightwing Christian nationalist, Pence is known for his anti-abortion and antiLGBT positions, and for being a target for the militants who seized the US Capitol on January 6, 2021.
