 Justin Kan net worth: Justin Kan, an American inventor and entrepreneur, is worth of more than $100 million. Justin Kan co-founded Twitch.tv and Justin.tv live video streaming platforms. Kan also co-founded the mobile social media app Socialcam. Kan is a partner in Y Combinator which is a venture capital firm. Kan has attempted to broadcast his entire life which led to the term "lifecasting". The Drop, an electronic music discovery platform similar to Reddit, was also developed by Kan. TechCrunch's Justin Kan is a contributor. Yale University awarded him degrees in philosophy and physics. He also founded the outsourcing platform Exec in 2012 that was acquired in 2014 by Handybook. He launched his 24-7 live stream Justin.tv in 2007 and the lifecasting service lasted about eight months and was ended in 2014. Amazon.com purchased Twitch for $970 million in 2014. Twitch had raised more than $45 million through numerous rounds of investments which substantially reduced each owner's stake. It's estimated that each one of the four Twitch founders owned around 12.5 percent of Twitch when it was sold.
