Kaya Rose Scodelario Davis (nee Humphrey) is an English actress. She is best known for her performances in Effy Stonem's E4 teen drama Skins (2007–2010 and 2013) and Teresa in the Maze Runner movie series (2014-2018). The other roles she has played include Catherine Earnshaw in Andrea Arnold's Wuthering Heights (2011), Carina Smyth in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales (2017), Carole Ann Boone in Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile (2019), Haley Keller in Crawl (2019), Katarina Baker in the Netflix original series Spinning Out (2020) and Claire Redfield in Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City (2021).Her mother was a multi-tasker and worked numerous jobs to pay the bills and had clinical depression that was worsened in the teen years of Scodelario due to the stress. Scodelario stated that she wanted to help but didn't know how to help. She relocated to Camden in 2007 to live with her mother in a house.
