Radric Delantic, born on February 12 1980, is an American rapper from the United States. He is also referred to as Gucci Mane. Alongside fellow Atlanta rappers T.I., he helped to create hip hop subgenres within trap music. In particular, Young Jeezy and Gucci Mane during the 2000s. In 2005, Gucci Mane debuted with Trap House, followed by his second album, Hard to Kill in 2006. In 2007, Gucci Mane released his third studio album, Back to the Trap House. After a string commercially and critically-acclaimed mixtapes Gucci Mane's fourth album, The state vs. Radric, was released in the year 2007. It was the first album he released to be certified gold. After being in prison from 2014 until 2016 Gucci Mane returned with a number of retail albums, including Everybody Looking (2016). This album was well-received by critics. Gucci Mane's 2016 collaboration with Rae Sremmurd was titled "Black Beatles". It was his first number one track on the US Billboard Hot 100 charts.
