Brock Edward Lesnar (/'lezn@r/ LEHZ-nur; born July 12, 1977) is a professional American-Canadian wrestler and former mixed martial artist (MMA) as well as an amateur wrestler and professional American footballer who has the American and Canadian citizenship. He currently is signed to the professional wrestling company WWE which, as per the storyline, he's an "free agent", allowing the promotion to use both the Raw and SmackDown brands. Lesnar is the only person to have won all the major heavyweight championships, including WWE, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW),and the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA).Lesnar wrestled for collegiate teams at the University of Minnesota, winning the NCAA Division I national championship in 2000. He soon became a member of the World Wrestling Federation (WWF, later renamed WWE in 2002) before rising to fame in 2002 after winning the WWE Championship at age 25. He set records for the youngest performer to be awarded the championship.
