 Garena is an Singaporean game developer and publisher of online free games.In December 2011, Garena announced their collaboration with the online game developer Changyou, to publish and operate the popular 3D combat game, Duke of Mount Deer, in Taiwan. The game was the very first Garena+ MMORPG. The game combines a classic Chinese tale with the most recent 3D rendering technology and cinematic quality graphics. Duke of Mount Deer was created by several top online-gaming experts in China as well as South Korea and has gained much popularity across China. The same month, the "Dominion" gaming mode became available became available to Garena's League of Legends players in Singapore as well as Malaysia.In October, Sea Limited filed for an initial public offer on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and aimed to raise USD$1 billion. Tencent was the largest shareholder, holding around 20% of all outstanding shares in Sea Limited before the IPO and currently holds 18.7%, was the most significant shareholder. Blue Dolphins Venture was founded by Forrest Li and accounted for approximately 15% of the shares. Li personally owned 20 percent shares, while the company's Chief Technology Officer, Gang Ye, 10%.Garena+ is a game on the internet and a social platform with an interface similar to instant messaging services. Garena+ lets gamers create friend lists, connect with their online friends and monitor game performance.
