Venus Williams is an American professional tennis player who has an estimated net worth of $95 million. Williams is a former World No. 1 and is generally considered to be the person who initiated the new era of power on the women's tennis professional tour. She has been ranked World No. She was ranked World No. one in singles three times. Venus, then 10, was moved by her family from Compton, California to West Palm Beach, Florida so she could join the tennis academy of Rick Macci. When Venus was 11 Richard Williams pulled Serena and Venus out of national junior tennis championships. At the time, Williams held a 63-0 record on the United States Tennis Association junior tour and was ranked No. 1 among the players who were under the age of 12 from Southern California. Richard took his daughters to Macci's academy in 1995 and began coaching them.
