Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt is an estimated net worth of $90 million. Usain Bolt, when he was at his peak, was the fastest man on the planet and was among the athletes with the highest earnings especially during the Olympics. In the years before the Olympics Usain was paid between $20 to $30 million per year. He was the highest-paid track and fields athlete of all time. It is possible to conclude that the bulk of his earnings were from endorsements, not on-track competition prizes. Puma was the German shoe maker, paid Usain $9M per year to wear their shoes on and off the track. Deals with Visa, Nissan, and Gatorade brought Usain additional money. Bolt's autobiography, which is a best-selling book is published in 2010 by Harper Collins. The advance included a multi-million-dollar increase. Usain also commands appearance fees ranging from $250,000 to as high as $500,000 to compete at track and field events throughout the world. During his Olympic career Usain won eight gold medals. He holds many world records for 100 meters, such as the time (9.58 seconds) and the 200 meters (19.19).
