 Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt has an estimated net worth of $90 million. Usain Bolt, at his highest was the fastest athlete on the planet and was among the athletes with the highest earnings especially in the Olympics. In the years before the Olympics Usain made between $20 to $30 million each year. He is, by far the highest-paid track and field player ever. As you might assume, the vast major portion of his earnings were from endorsements, not the prizes he won in competitions on track. Puma was an German shoe maker, paid Usain $9 million per year for the privilege of wearing their footwear both on and off the track. Usain also earned millions from deals with Visa, Nissan and Gatorade. Bolt's autobiography is a bestseller, was published in 2010 by Harper Collins. The advance included a multi-million-dollar increase. Usain could also receive appearance fees of up to $500,000 to compete in track and field events all over the world. In the course of his Olympic career Usain was awarded eight gold medals. He holds several world records, including the 100 meter (9.58 seconds) and 200 meters (19.19).
