Pat Boone, a singer who is also a composer, actor and singer, is a writer, TV presenter and is worth in excess of $50 million. Pat Boone is one of the most popular recording artists in the 50s and 1960s. Boone was also famous for hosting "The Pat Boone Chevy Showroom" on ABC as well as for his performances in a variety of Hollywood films. In the 1970s, Boone turned increasingly toward an emphasis on Christian values and gospel music. He later became a conservative journalist. Boone sold more than 45 million albums throughout his music career. He also had 38 Top 40 songs. Boone also created a record label named Lion & Lamb Records, that he created in the late 1970's.Pat Boone was born on June 1, 1934, in Jacksonville, Florida to Archie and Margaret. He is the younger brother of Cecil who was an aspiring pop star. Boone who was only two years old was moved to Nashville, Tennessee with his family. He spent the rest of his childhood and teenage years. Boone attended David Lipscomb High School, and graduated in 1952.
