Haruka

 Haruka Nanase (Qi Lai Yao Nanase Haruka) is the main character in the anime series Free!, beginning with Free!, and the light novel HighSpeed! written by Kouji Ohji. He is a freestyle swimming and was vice-captain of the Iwatobi High School Swimming Club. He is a current university student at Hidaka University where he also is a member of the swim club as he competes professionally on the global stage.Haruka is a muscular young man with blue eyes and long, straight black hair with a swath of bangs that fall in between his eyes. He is a serious person and is not known for his emotional expression. At high school, he frequently wears jammers underneath his normal clothes in order to be prepared to swim at the spur of the moment. His jammers (all black with minor variations in violet stripes) are nearly identical, but he states they are different sizes and it can be difficult for him to choose the one to wear in the morning. The strongest muscles in his form are his abdominal muscles and triceps (upper arms and abdominals).
