 Michael Oher is an American offensive lineman in the NFL with a a net value of $16 million. Oher's tale was told in "The Blind Side" which was an Academy Award-winning film starring Sandra Bullock & Tim McGraw. Michael's character was played by Quinton Aaron.Michael Oher was born May 28th, 1986 in Memphis, Tennessee. Oher was born to Denise Oher, who was an drug addict and alcoholic, and a father named Michael Jerome Williams, who was often in prison. Because of his environment and his family, he was not given much supervision or attention during his childhood. He was a repeat student in both the first and second grades and attended eleven different schools during his first nine years as a pupil. When he was seven He was placed in foster custody. He lived in different foster homes and experienced times of being homeless. The father of Oher's birth was a former cellmate of Denise's brother, and was killed in prison in the year Oher was a senior in high school. A young Michael Oher was finally taken into the care of Sean Tuohy and Leigh Anne Tuohy, when he was just 16 and the Tuohys became Oher's legal guardians when he was 17. They made Oher an instructor.
