Anson Williams was born Anson William Heimlich on September 25, 1949, in Los Angeles, California, is an American actor and singer. The actor is well-known for his part in Happy Days (1974-1984), in which he played the character of Warren "Potsie" the gullible and well-intentioned singing sensation. However, his appearances decreased in subsequent seasons. Richie, Potsie and Ralph form a band that performs at Arnold's Drive-In, as well as other locations, in a few episodes. Williams was the singer as Potsie. Williams his first wife Lorrie Mahaffey was the one who sang lead vocals for the group. Williams later portrayed Jennifer as the girl who Potsie was with in later seasons.
