Michael Oher

 Michael Oher is an American football offensive tackle who has an estimated value of $16 million. Oher's tale was told in "The Blind Side", a 2009 Oscar Award-winning movie starring Sandra Bullock & Tim McGraw. Quinton Aaron was in Michael Oher's role. Michael Oher was born in Memphis, Tennessee on May 28, 1986. Oher was the son of Denise Oher, who was an drug addict and alcoholic as well as a father named Michael Jerome Williams, who was frequently in jail. Because of his environment, he received little supervision or attention during his early years. He re-entered first and second grade and attended 11 schools in his initial nine years as a student. He was placed in foster care when he was seven, and alternated between various foster homes and experiencing periods of being homeless. The father of Oher's birth was a former cellmate of Denise's brother and was murdered in prison at the time Oher was in senior high school. When Michael Oher was 16 years old, Sean Tuohy was and Leigh Anne Tuohy was appointed the legal guardians of Oher. Oher was assigned a tutor who would work with the teenager for 20 hours a week.
