Lucy Verasamy (born 2 August 1980) is a British weather forecaster on ITV Weather, ITV Racing and ITV's Good Morning Britain.Verasamy was born in King's Lynn, Norfolk, and attended Silfield Primary School in Wymondham, Framlingham College Junior School in Suffolk and King Edward VII School in King's Lynn, where she studied A-level geography. She graduated with the BSc (Hons) degree in geography at Brunel University in 2001.After graduation, Verasamy trained and worked as a meteorologist for the Press Association's Weather Centre (Later changed to Meteogroup the largest private weather business) - writing global and national weather forecasts for TV, radio, and Newspapers. Having previously completed an experience at the Sky Weather Centre prior to becoming a weather forecaster Verasamy became a part of Sky and was appointed the regular weather host on the Sky News breakfast show Sunrise. Sky News launched a Climate Clinic and Ask Lucy feature in 2007 as part its Green Britain campaign.
