Lily Jane Collins, born 18 March 1989 in London, is an American actress and model. Collins was born in Guildford, Surrey, and grew up in Los Angeles. She began acting on screen at age two on Growing Pains, a BBC sitcom. Collins began her career in the second half of the 2000s, when she started modeling and acting more frequently. She appeared in The Blind Side, a sports-drama that was the third most watched film in the year 2009. Collins continued to appear in major roles in feature films such as the sci-fi horror film Priest (2011) as well as the psychological thriller Abduction (2011) and the supernatural Mirror Mirror (2012) and the urban-themed fantasy The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones (2013), along with the romantic comedies Stuck in Love (2012), The English Teacher (2013), Love, Rosie (2014), and the role as Marla Mabrey in the comedy Rules don't Work (2016).
