Lil Durk

 Lil Durk is an American rapper who has an estimated net worth of $8 million dollars. He is the founder and CEO of the OTF record label Only the Family. Durk gained popularity after the release of the mixtape "Signed to the Streets", which led to a record deal with Def Jam. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on the 19th of October 19, 1992. Lil Durk, also known as Durk D. Banks, was raised in the rough neighborhood of Englewood in Chicago's South Side. His father was in prison at the age of Durk was just seven months old. Durk has recalled that they were instances when there was not enough food at home as he grew up.Durk was able to make his breakthrough at a young age through social media. It was through channels like MySpace and YouTube. Durk became a father for the first time at age 17 and walked out of Paul Robeson High School to join the street gang in Chicago called the Black Disciples. After he began to get into legal trouble and was charged with numerous gun crimes and pleaded guilty to aggravated illegal use of guns. The first mixtape of his was released in 2011. Unfortunately, he was sent to jail at the same time for weapons charges. After being released just a few months later he refocused his attention on his music career.
