Lily Jane Collins, born 18 March 1989 in London, is an American model and actress. Collins was born in Guildford, Surrey, and she grew up in Los Angeles. She began acting in the screen at age two in Growing Pains, a BBC sitcom. In the second half of the 2000s, Collins began acting and modeling more often and had a career breakthrough with her performance in the drama sports film The Blind Side, which was the third highest-grossing film of 2009. Collins went on to play leading parts in feature films, including the sci-fi horror film Priest (2011) and the psychological thriller Abduction (2011) and the fantasy Mirror Mirror (2012), the urban fantasy The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones (2013), and the romantic comedies Stuck in Love (2012), The English Teacher (2013), Love, Rosie (2014), and the part as Marla Mabrey in the comedy Rules Don't Work (2016).
