Jami Beth Gertz (born October 28 the 28th of October, 1965) is an American actress. Gertz is famous for her first roles in the films Crossroads, The Lost Boys, Less than Zero and Quicksilver and the 1980s' television series Square Pegs and 1996's Twister, as well as for her role in the role of Judy Miller in the CBS sitcom Still Standing and as Debbie Weaver in the ABC sitcom The Neighbors. Along with husband Tony Ressler, she is an owner of the Atlanta Hawks of the National Basketball Association.She was discovered during a nationwide talent hunt by Norman Lear and studied drama at NYU. Gertz together with Andrew Dice Clay, was a child actor in the episode Diff'rent Strokes. Gertz also appeared in a regular role as Blair's friendand classmate Boots St. Clair on The Facts of Life. Gertz made her debut film appearance in the film romance Endless Love, which was followed by a co-starring role in the sitcom TV series Square Pegs. The role she played in 1987 was a major highlight.
