Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson, born on April 15, 1990, is an English actress. Known for her roles in both blockbusters and independent films as well in her feminist rights activism, she's been awarded a selection of accolades such as an award for a Young Artist Award and three MTV Movie Awards. Forbes and Vanity Fair have ranked Watson as one of the highest-paid actresses in the world. Time magazine also named Watson one of the top 100 influential people worldwide in 2015. Watson attended the Dragon School where she was educated in acting at Stagecoach Theatre Arts' Oxford branch. After appearing in the Harry Potter films as Hermione Granger, Watson rose to the heights of fame when she was a kid. Prior to that, she only performed in school plays. Watson was also in the 2007 adaptation of the novel Ballet Shoes and lent her voice to The Tale of Despereaux (2008). Following the final Harry Potter film, Watson played a supporting role on My Week with Marilyn (2011). Watson then appeared as Sam, a flirtatious character.
